Nattasten jälkeen seikkailumme jatkui Urho Kekkosen kansallispuistossa sijaitsevalle Rumakurulle - joka nimensä vastaisesti oli hurjan kaunis! Hiljaisella ja rauhallisella paikalla sijaitseva kuru oli kunnioitusta herättävä näky ja hieman mystinenkin. Peilikirkas vesi oli aivan tyyni, ja tuulikin tuntui rauhoittuvan kurun ympärillä. Unisen tunnelman onnistui rikkomaan vain meidän koiramme, joka hiljaisuuteen kyllästyttyään päätti molskahtaa veteen uimaan. Siinä ei kurua ihasteleva emäntä ehtinyt koiraa lainkaan pysäyttämään, kun toinen kahlasi jo tomerana veteen ja roiski ja pärski ympäriinsä. Hetki tallentui sattumalta kameraankin ja muisto on tuonut hymyn huulille jo monta kertaa kuvia katsellessa.
We travelled to Lappland few weeks ago and it was an amazing journey! We drove there with our car and it took two days to drive. Isla did great in the car and the travel to Lappland went all good. First we visited Pyhä Nattanen fell. The view from up there was breathtaking and the most beautiful we've ever seen! You can see the pictures in our previous post.
Next day we hiked in Urho Kekkonen's national park to see Rumakuru. The name means ugly in finnish and we really don't understand why since it was a really beautiful and peaceful place as you can see from pictures of this post. The place seemed almost sacred and so it was very funny when Isla got bored and decided to go swimming breaking the mystic silence of the wilderness. We also got this action on camera and the picture has made us laugh several times afterwards!
